Functional Skills Assessor

  • Location: Manor Farm, North Marston

About the Role:

Animal Antiks is looking for a creative, adaptable and learner-focused Functional Skills Assessor to deliver Maths and English through practical, outdoor and animal-assisted learning.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who can bring learning to life beyond the classroom, using real-world activities such as animal care, feeding routines, measuring outdoor spaces, budgeting feed costs, recording animal behaviour, planning care rotas and more.

The role will involve delivering Functional Skills Maths and English from Entry Level 1–3 and Level 1–2, supporting learners to build confidence, independence and practical skills.

We’re looking for someone who:
🌿 Can deliver Functional Skills Maths and English
🌿 Has experience supporting young people with additional needs or those disengaged from education
🌿 Is confident working outdoors and in non-traditional learning environments
🌿 Has strong communication and behaviour support skills
🌿 Is flexible, creative and learner-centred

Experience in animal-assisted learning, outdoor education, SEMH, trauma-informed practice or exam preparation would be a bonus.

Youth Worker (Alternative Provision/SEND Support

About the Role:

Animal Antiks Group is looking for a compassionate, proactive and resilient Youth Worker to join our Alternative Provision team.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with SEND, EHCPs, autism, ADHD, SEMH, anxiety or trauma-related needs in a practical, nurturing and hands-on learning environment.

Based on our working farm in North Marston, you’ll support learners to build confidence, independence, communication skills and practical life skills through animal-assisted and land-based learning.

The role includes:
🌿 Supporting young people one-to-one and in small groups
🐴 Helping learners access animal care, vocational and practical activities
💬 Encouraging confidence, resilience and positive decision-making
📚 Supporting learners to work towards EHCP outcomes and accredited qualifications
🤝 Working closely with tutors, instructors, families and professionals
🛡️ Promoting safeguarding, wellbeing and positive behaviour

We’re looking for someone with experience in youth work, education, care, mentoring, SEND support or a similar setting. A calm, patient and resilient approach is essential.

An enhanced DBS check will be required.

Receptionist / Administrator

About the Role:

Animal Antiks Group is looking for a friendly, organised and adaptable Receptionist / Administrator to join our team at our Alternative Provision based on a working farm.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining front-of-house duties with essential administrative support to help keep the provision running smoothly.

As the first point of contact for visitors, parents, carers and professionals, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming, safe and organised environment for our learners, staff and visitors.

The role includes:
👋 Welcoming visitors, families, professionals and contractors
☎️ Answering phone calls, emails and general enquiries
📝 Supporting attendance, records, letters, reports and data entry
📅 Helping arrange meetings, appointments and shared calendars
📚 Supporting EHCP Annual Review administration and deadlines
🤝 Working closely with education, pastoral and farm staff
🛡️ Following safeguarding, health and safety and visitor procedures

We’re looking for someone with previous experience in administration, reception or customer service, strong communication skills, good IT skills and a positive, professional approach.
